Viola cornuta 'SMEV3' (Celestial™ Twilight) is the result of a controlled cross-pollination of Viola ‘Tiger Eyes’ and V. ‘Lord Primrose’. It was part of a formal breeding program in Wonga Park, Victoria, Australia. It was patented on July 1, 2014 under the patent number PP24,592.

It has been our experience that Viola cornuta 'SMEV3' (Celestial™ Twilight) performs well in our area in cool season plantings. It is important to fertilize to help it establish a good size. It is about four inches wide by five to six inches tall.
